Bangladesh Engineers' Association (BEA)

 The First meeting of the 6^th Elected Executive Committee of BEAJ together with Ex-committee members was held on 9^th July Thursday, at 7:45 p.m  at the residence of Engr. Abdul Momen Khan, Nuzla, Jeddah.

 The meeting was presided over by the President and it started with the recitation from the Holy Quran.

 After detail discussions on different agenda, the following Resolutions were adapted unanimously.

 1. A special meeting should be arranged to chalk out plan for Broad Scale Seminar, after Haj 2009.

2. Prepare a Database of High Level Bangladeshi working in Jeddah and its neighborhood.

Engr. Nezamul Hasan will work for it in coordination with Engr. Abdul Momen Khan and Engr. Mohd. Abu Farooque

 3. Brain storming session will be arranged with all engineers and Top ranking Bangladeshi after Ramadan in Eid-Reunion party.

4. Annual Program for BEAJ has being set up as below

            a. Iftar Party  2009      : 1^st Thursday of Ramadan (27/8/09)

            b. Eid-Reunion            : End of Sept. 2009, (24/9/09)

            c. Image Building Seminar : End of Dec. 2009

d. Annual Picnic         : Last week on January 2010 or  6/2/010.

5. A Blood Donation Campaign from BEAJ will be arranged on Saudi National Day 2010

6. Engr. Nezamul Hasan has been co-opted as Web-Manager in the Executive Committee.

7. Rules for updating BEAJs’ website were drawn out as follows.

            a. Executive Committee Resolutions should put on website.

            b. Job Vacancies should be placed in website.

            c. Achievements of Bangladeshis working abroad will be in website.

            d. There will be a Help Line on Website.

 Having no other agenda, the meeting ended with thanks to the Chair.
